from Spring to Autumn.

We
will be working in a small group, where you have the possibility to get a customized
program adapted to your knowledge, demands and wishes. We are going to teach you the
fascinating sport of flyfishing for seatrout and salmon in running water.

Author and flyfisher Pelle Klippinge from
Påskallavik is the course leader.
Pelle's home water being the River Em. He has a wide
experience from not just fishing in Swedish rivers, but also from Norwegian, Irish,
Scottish, Russian and Icelandic rivers.

The average number of fish caught during a normal season is
approx. 35-100 seatrout and the average weight is very high. During spring fishing weights
of 3-5 kg are very common and during autumn fish often weight over 5 kg - sometimes they
are a lot bigger!!! In the autumn 2001 Pelle caught his biggest ever so far. A sea trout
weighing 12,8 kilos (29,4 lbs).

You
are recommended to sign up quickly, to be sure of a rod. Confirm your reservation as early
as possible because we usually run out of rods early in the season.

| Gyrodactylus
Salaris
The
parasite Gyrodactylus salaris is frequent in the in the Em river but
Sea trout and Salmon here are resistant. Anyone travelling to areas
afterwards which are designated as free from Gyrodactylus
Salaris, should take necessary precautions to ensure that the
equipment is not contaminated.
